Kwahn Jahng Nim John Ives is
married to Lorraine and they live in Norwich with their two children Kelly and Elizabeth,
both of whom practice Kuk Sool and have won gold medals at previous UK and World
Championships.
John Ives has been training since
1973 and was appointed as a Chief Instructor by Kuk Sa Nim in 1989. He was promoted
to Master Level in 1996, which also saw him opening up his Do-Jang in Norwich. Kwahn
Jahng Nim John teaches full time in Kuk Sool and holds classes for other Kuk Sool
Instructors on a regular basis. Kwahn Jahng Nim's skills and dedication are an
inspiration to his student and all who meet and train with him. He is well known in
Kuk Sool for his ability and is especially renowned for his kicking and hand destruction
techniques.
